Features

Everything from drawing a first stitch to exporting a machine file. Some features are on paid plans only; the pricing page says which.

Digitizing tools

A full set of stitch types, drawn directly on the canvas.

  • Run, satin and fill

Run lines in several styles (triple, multi-pass, backstitch and more), satin columns, and fills with a direction you control.

  • Curves and corners

Left-click for a corner, right-click for a curve point. Reshape any node afterwards.

  • Lettering

A font library with a sample of each face, category filters, and a warning when your text is smaller than the font sews well.

  • Appliqué, redwork and more

Appliqué with a thread per phase, redwork, buttonholes, chenille and other decoration stitches.

  • Monograms and arrangement

Monogram and batch-name helpers, mirror, offsets and alignment for production work.

From image to design

Three ways to turn artwork into stitches, so you pick the effort and the control.

  • Import a logo

File menu, drag and drop, paste an image or paste a link. PNG, JPG, GIF, WEBP, BMP, TIFF, ICO, SVG, PDF, HEIC and AVIF are read.

  • Auto-digitize

Algorithmic digitizing with options for size, colours, outline and border, and thread matching. No AI credits needed.

  • AI design

An AI-assisted first pass that you can edit freely. It uses credits (a standard design is one credit) and falls back to classic tracing if the AI step is unavailable.

  • Click to stitch and photo stitch

Click a colour region of your reference image to fill it, or turn a photo into a stitched picture on the plans that include it.

Check before you sew

See the design the way the machine will sew it.

  • Stitch player

Play, pause and step by stitch, object or colour. The count matches what the machine stream and the export hold.

  • Realistic thread view

Shaded thread with direction, so satin angles and fill directions are easy to judge.

  • Thread charts

Pick colours from real thread charts (Madeira, Isacord, Gunold, Floriani, Sulky and more) or match from a hex colour. On-screen colours are approximate.

  • Versions and review links

Keep versions of a design and send a customer a review link they can open on a phone to approve or ask for changes.

Production and business

For people who sew for money.

  • Export to your machine

Pick the format your machine reads, set options, download the file. The format list comes from the same registry the export uses.

  • Machines

Save your machines and formats, and generate the export file for one in a click. Files are downloaded: nothing is sent to a machine automatically.

  • Shop

Customers and orders next to your designs, on the plans that include it.

  • Teams

Invite members with roles; the Studio plan includes three seats.

Learn as you go

Lessons that run inside the real editor.

  • In-app lessons

Step-by-step lessons with a highlight on the tool you need next and completion based on what you actually do.

  • Starter designs

A built-in library of ready-to-stitch designs (animals, monograms, badges, borders, flowers) to copy into your workspace and edit.
